Fallen Retired Bay City Police Officer * Christopher Crummett Funeral * Chris was well respected during his 33 years in law enforcement. Most of these years were spent serving the Bay City and Lake Jackson areas. He loved serving his community, fellow officers in times of need, and being the head advisor of Explorer Post #2226 to which multiple explorers went on to have successful careers in law enforcement. Please wear Black Jeans, White Shirt, and Bolo Tie if you have them. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo with pride. NOTE: This will not be a MCC Escort. The burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery; 2506 65th St. Galveston, TX. NOTE: Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Friday, October 3, 2025 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay City. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM with Rev. Stephen Vacek officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, October 3, 2025 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery; 2506 65th St. Galveston, TX Note: Matagorda County Cavalry members and other Patriots on motorcycles or vehicles. |
